Organizers

Frank Corso, Lead Organizer and Sponsor Coordinator

Frank has been working with WordPress since 2009 and is the founder of My Local Webstop where he develops Quiz And Survey Master, the highest rated quiz and survey plugin in the WordPress.org repository. He is an organizer of the Gainesville WordPress Meetup.

In his spare time, he is the host of The WP Report which is a podcast about improving your WordPress site. He loves to blog about WordPress, Marketing, and Business and speak at various conferences including WordCamp Tampa, WordCampa Orlando, and WordCamp Raleigh. Above all else, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

Stephanie Brinley, Swag & Venue Coordinator

With a life-long passion for art and a BFA in Graphic Design, Stephanie is a web designer with an emphasis on design. She started freelancing as a print designer many years ago, but found the transition to web design a natural progression. Shortly thereafter, Stephanie and her husband began experimenting with WordPress around version 2.0.2 and built a thriving company around it. In 2011 they moved their family to Fleming Island, FL and rebranded as Flightless. Stephanie has been involved with the Florida WordPress community since 2014 and has been honored to share her knowledge at WordCamps Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and US. She is excited to be making use of her print design background to help bring you an excellent WordCamp Jacksonville. Most weeks you will find her attempting to balance web design and homeschooling, exploring the world of flavors she can invent in her kitchen, and sometimes on Twitter @sjbrinley.

Karena Kreger, Website Design and Volunteer Coordinator

With a unique combination of technical skills and a strong design eye, Karena has over a decade of experience in building her clients’ compelling, professional web presence. Karena runs Open Sky Web Studio in Jacksonville, FL, specializing in WordPress websites for small businesses and organizations since 2009. A member of the WPJax Meetup, Karena is a teacher at heart, striving to provide a creative and educational experience, without the scary tech talk.

Daniel Iser, Speaker and Budget Coordinator

I have been developing with WordPress for over 7 years. I have developed and maintain several successful plugins including Popup Maker and Easy Modal and have a new plugin line for recipes & tutorial management called Cooked (Later 2016).

I enjoy my family, constant learning and always trying to make something better than it was. I consider myself an entrepreneur and have been client free for nearly 2 years as a WP product developer.

Elizabeth Pampalone, Meetup Coordinator

Someone told Elizabeth to stop hand coding sites and start using WordPress. She laughed at them and said, “Nah, I like to have more control over my sites.” That was in 2006. Today, Elizabeth, founder of Jax Computer Chic, The Web Design Chic, Network in Jax, and Do I Need A Business Plan? uses WordPress exclusively. Her whole web design business model is based on this platform.

Not only is she the “Queen of Jacksonville Networking” her colleagues might also call her the “Plugin Queen”. If you need a solution, she probably has a plugin, or collection of plugins for you to try.

Elizabeth and her team (Joseph, Ericca, and Gordon) enjoy the flexibility and DIYness of the CMS. She has spoken at WordCamp Orlando giving a talk on Plugins. The Jacksonville WP Meetup has been organized by Elizabeth since the beginning of 2015. She looks forward to the 2016 season as well as the chance to be apart of organizing Jacksonville’s first WordCamp.
